I'm starting to miss IB... I wouldn't think of saying that while I was doing it, but...I do miss it now. I just miss school, teachers, classes, assignments (I know i'll regret saying this once i'm buried under them...hehehe) but seriously, I'd prefer them than total BOREDOM!!
I started my application to Melbourne Uni 2 weeks ago and guess what... I don't think they've even started processing them. They need some kind of verification for my results. I sent them a copy of a page which is the exact same thing they would see even if they have my log in details like ID and password. I'm not allowed to give them my ID and password... but what's the whole point of it anyway? I sent them the freaking identical page... =_= And Mr.Taylor told me to tell them to contact him directly through the school's email... and... they typed the wrong address. LOL. they typed bdp@bisdragons.com INSTEAD of ibdp@bisdragons.com. Can anything get more wrong than that?? Good thing I got the email too... if not... who knows what'll happen. My teacher would be expecting some kind of email while the MelU Admin people would be expecting some kind of response, thinking my teacher got the email. Geez....
The first email I got from them looks unprofessional as well. A few typo errors here and there. I mean... come on... is that the kind of impression they give to future students?? I thought it was amusing though... very amusing...
After reading Sophie Kinsella's Confessions of a Shopaholic... I guess people may not be as professional as they appear to be. Like this admin person.... After all, even the President is still human right?
So how's everyone?
I've watched Terminator and Transformers and Harry Potter since the holidays... Learnt how to cook a little, did loads of ironing and cleaning and sweeping and mopping... quite funny, cuz i'm reading The Undomestic Goddess by Sophie Kinsella... Makes me want to learn all the basics in cooking and stuff. Just in case I know less than I thought I know... I want to survive my Uni life... balance it up. I'm sure we all can right? Juggle school work and housework... be a good student AND an independent girl who knows how to do domestic stuff =D I'm pretty sure my mum would be more proud if I do better in the latter than the former...Oh well... mums...
Update the blog and fill it with stories, complaints, announcements, whatever. OKAY???
Take care!!
P.S: Still loving and missing you guys! <3<3<3
