I LOVE Shakespeare for the creation of Romeo and Juliet...but I HATE him for making a tragic ending...
I just watched the Leonardo Di Caprio version of Romeo + Juliet. It's a fabulous movie in my opinion...it's a modern version, where guns replace swords, and cars replace horses. It's creative..and the characters played their roles wonderfully...especially Leonardo. Hahaha... he suits playing a drop-dead-romantic kind of guy.. Like in Titanic. His looks was pretty boyish, which is good, because Romeo is a young man...and the actress..Claire...is pretty too. Somehow, they look pretty similar..which makes them sort of compatible. Haha...
So there you go, a brief review...don't be disappointed if it doesn't appear to be as good as how i described it..because right now...i'm just being emotional!! They DIED in the end!! Sigh... and it's only a matter of...................SECONDS!! Sorry, I spoilt it..but I can't help it. No...not seconds...only a second!!! You'll know what I mean by the extreme suspense, drama, whatever that the director created for that scene. One word though...annoying. I hate sad endings.
Alright..there you go. WATCH IT!! =) It's worth it.
