This post would be about the trip itself..hehehe...ultimately, I enjoyed it immensely =)
Day 1: We reached Tao Yuan International Airport in Taiwan. Our local guide was Farini and our tour leader was Adi. We were lucky actually, cuz the day before that, there was typhoon in Taiwan. When we were there, it's only the 'tail' of it. So it wasn't that bad...just some rain. We reached Fulon Hotel...which was a very nice hotel. Hehehe...It was at night so we basically just settled down, and rest. I wanted to write things down, but was too tired and lazy...hahaha...
Day 2: Let me think...I don't think it was raining that time. We went to Jiang Kai sek Memorial, went to a souvenir shop, and Taipei 101 in the evening. The highlight for the day was 101, the tallest building standing now. We had dinner at the 85th floor, and the whole meal was BRILLIANT!! It costed a lot they say...haha...some of the main course are Fo Tiao Qiang, scallop, beef....real good. =) The night view was fantastic too.
Day 3: We packed up and flew for Tokyo-Japan on the Hello Kity plane...which wasn't very very impressive but not bad anyway. Our local guide's Monica. We reached Keio Plaza which was also an excellent hotel. But before that, we had dinner at some place, and it was soooooo good!! The chicken was so soft and just....mouth-watering. Really good. Oh yeah, we were lucky too, cuz it was said that after Taiwan, the typhoon went to Japan and we were all worrying that it might rain while we go to the theme parks, which would be terrible. But surprisingly, it didn't rain.
Day 4: Disneyland was the higlight. The whole day was spent there! The weather was really good, no signs of rain. That was 1 hurdle down for us. But we had about 4 more to go (Disneysea, Fuji, and Universal...and the shrines). To me...nothing new in Disneyland, except it was bigger than HK's and we got to play lots of games. Then in the evening, we went to Tokyo Tower and enjoyed the night view. That's where I got souvenirs for people. ^^ After that, we had dinner... maybe it was shabu-shabu...forgot.
Day5: Highlight--> Disneysea. I was more excited about this one because there's only 1 Disneysea in the world so far. So...it didn't turn me down at all. Haha...we got to play a lot of games too. All the time, I was thinking of my dearest friends and thought how wonderful it would be if 4 of us were there. Hehehe...After that, i think, we went to Ginza, like Orchard Road in SG. Didn't really buy anything. It's just a shopping street. Then dinner.
Day 6: Alright, i think i'm messing things up a little...fine, a lot. One of those days, we went to Shinjuku, another shopping street. I think this day, I went to Mt Fuji, and on the way, went to Kawaguchi Lake. Anyway, our luck stayed with us. Didn't rain and got to see Mt Fuji!! Which is rare according to my tour leader. He went there 5 times, and this was the first time he saw it. Took loads of pics...then we went to a resort in Kawaguchi Lake. I went on the onsen...heehee... very relaxing. But i didn't get a good night's sleep (which i'm supposed to have). It was sooo hot...for me. Dunno...so yeah.. Oh and one of the days, we went to this place..something like Expo.. but only for Toyota cars. Not that interesting.
Day 7: Went to Kyoto today and on the same day went to Osaka by Shin Kan Sen (Bullet train).
It was a new experience. We were welcomed by rain in Osaka, and we went to the Hyatt Regency Hotel. Nice hotel once again.
Day 8: Today, we went to shrines and temples. The highlight was Kyomizu temple. We were supposed to go Shin Sai Bashi, but since it was raining, we decided that we'll go after Universal Studio. I had fun praying with the Jap style. Hahaa..
Day 9: UNIVERSAL STUDIO!! ONCE AGAIN, NO RAIN!! WOO HOOO!! The best rides were Spiderman 4-D and Hollywood Dream!! This is when I had a story..ahaha...especially for wanshi. Anyway, after that, we went to Shin Sai Bashi..shopping! This time, the style is more for youngsters like us. I want to go there again!...without people who dun like shopping. But of course, CA-4 is a must. And LAST DAY OF JAP T_T
Day 10: Back to Taiwan...stayed one night at the transit hotel and went back home. The stay was good cuz they provided internet...wahahhaa...that was also when i tagged on the ca-4 blog.
So Jap and Taiwan trip was full of fun, joy and LUCK. Hehehhe...
One night at home and then I went to Bio retreat first thing early in the morning. Oh well...the trip was fun too...but tiring!!
Alright, gonna do Math Portfolio now.
P.S: Thank you Wanshi!! For helping. Hehehe...
