Morning! Haha..i'm going to post again. This is about something that happens after the outreach. Wanshi knows the story, so this is for the rest of you.
On the last night, some of us went to try on ATVs (4-wheeled motorbike, like a mini car) and some rode on the motor bikes. We have this rule, that we have to be in the hotel rooms by 12am. That's the latest. However on that night, we went to ride the ATVs and unexpectedly, the ATVs broke down. All of them, except for the normal motorbikes. There were only 2 of them, and 1 of them is borrowed from a friend's friend. Anyway, so me and a friend got stranded somewhere, and the rest too...We called for help (to the ones on bikes) and they came and stuff. One by one, the girls are sent to the hotel first. I reached the hotel just right at 12, when the teacher was checking. I was already in the room when Mrs.R knocked on the door. She said she was just checking if everyone's in their room. So i told her honestly that maybe some of us can't be in the room on time, cuz they met some problem outside. My other friend cut in and say it's ok, don't worry to her. Another one tried to lie and say that they went out to eat in a restaurant. However, the guy (H) came back and told her the truth. So, for this thing only she knows, and another teacher called Mr.A. The last teacher - Mr.M, doesn't know about it.
After the motorbike thing, some people...6 of them, 3 girls and 3 guys, went to drink alcohol in a guy's room. All of them got drunk, especially one girl. But we thought this incident is secret, no one knows about it. Mr. A knows, but he just kept quiet. He told Mrs. R, and they kept it from Mr. M. BUT, C, a girl in my class, told her father about it and the dad called Mr.M and told him about it. On Monday morning when we went back to school, and Mr.M seemed soo angry. He didn't say anything and just wrote on the board whatever he wants to say. He talked about trust being lost and stuff. We all thought that it was about the ATV thing. But...people got suspicious and in the end, C told them that she was the one who told her dad and her dad told the teacher. The whole class was against her. They really really hate her. The punishment they got was 10hours community service. Kind of light, compared to what the head of school thought of - Expel or Suspension.
Now...some of us are just forming opinions about whether what she did was wrong and stuff. I try to be neutral, but it's really difficult. That was what was bothering me. Now, I hope the whole is closed after the 1 week break.
In my opinion, I think all of them are wrong. In the friendship perspective, that's betrayal. But you can argue that because she cares, that's why she wants to do that, to prevent her friends from doing it again. In the moral value perspective, those who got involved are wrong. They broke the rule and law. But they can argue that it's High School life.
I think that it's your choice whether you want your high school life to be messed up, or peaceful. I believe High School life do affect you in the future too. It does not just stay right there and then. I don't think it's right for people to think that high school should be full of those kind of trouble. Well if you choose it to be that way, then face the consequences. What are you complaining about? This is your choice. You do something wrong, you get the punishment, regardless of whether you're in high school or not. Right?
For C, I think she is kind of brave-stupid doing that. But for me, i think maybe first, I don't have a close relationship with those who drank, so I didn't really care. So even if I know, I wouldn't want to tell so that I have no trouble, and initially, I don't really care anyway. I think she can be smarter, and be anonymous. The teachers can cooperate and say that they found it out themselves. See? Good idea. That's why...for C, I think she should realise something. Reality is not all about purity. Sometimes we do need masks when dealing with it. In conclusion, I'm happy i'm with you guys, because I need no mask at all. I can be myself =) While with those people, you can call me 2-faced or whatsoever, but i just have to be that way. That's self-defence. If i want to avoid being that way too, then i'll just have to isolate myself from all the politics. And that's what I'm going to do. I'm going to know nothing about anything. That way, i can be myself, and also protect myself at the same time.
I forgot to add this guys: If you guys were the ones who drank and intend to break the rules, I will stop you guys from doing it and if you guys still do it, I'll tell your parents about it. Not the school. Cuz I always believe parents have the right to know. Okay guys? Cuz I care about you, that's why i'll do that if that ever happens. It's not that I want to betray you, but I want to prevent you from getting into a bigger trouble in the future. I mean, drinking can become a habit. If no one tells you now and you keep getting addicted to it, what if one day you meet an acciddent and get terribly injured because you're drunk. It might even cost you your life. That's why...
Okay, this is super-long post. I'm going to have breakfast. Hehe...See ya!
P.S: Nothing goes out from here kay?
Take care!
