HEY GUYS!!! Lol...i know this blog has no life...So, i'm here to give it some hope. Firstly, like wanshi said, i'm quite busy with my school life, especially when i'm working quite hard in Biology for Mr.Taylor...muahahaha...jk jk. But seriously, if anyone of you know the Prison Break guy, he looks like Michael Scofield. Seriously!! That cool!!! And he actually conduct this Peer Power Project thing. This is to gather some ppl from grade 11 and 12, to help him teach Health and Personal Development classes for the younger kids. Cuz there's this research saying that there are some things which the teacher can't teach well. For example, about sexual education. It's better if younger ones, like us as the big sis and bro to teach. Then he put up a list for ppl who wants to sign up. At the end of it, it exceeded the number of ppl he needed and he said "it's funny why it's dominantly girls" hehe...of course, he's cool! Anyway, enough of him back to me.
I am in a Dilemma!!
You guys know about the IB Diploma thing right? The highest level of a language subject is A1 Higher level. Second would be A1 Standard level. 3rd is A2 Higher level, then A2 standard level, next is B higher level, then the standard level. So here...I;m supposed to choose between Indonesian B Standard level and Chinese A1 Standard level. But A1 consist of mostly Literature. B is just the culture of the language. Like grammar and stuff. Indonesian would exert much less pressure for me, cuz i already have English A1 Higher level. And if i take A1 chinese, the workload would weigh a ton. So there...but problem is, chinese is more worth it. Cuz for IB, 7 is the highest grade. My chinese teacher keep asking if i'm doing fine in indo. I just said it's ok. And she said if i can't get 7, might as well take chinese, even if i get like 5. Cuz she said it's really more important and useful and indonesian.
My only concern is the workload, and the result. I'm afraid the overall IB result would be affected. That's why... Cuz for the score itself, it doesn't matter which subject i'm taking. They just sum up the grades. Most probably i'll get a higher grade for indo. But it's the quality, and the usefulness of that subject to me too. So how????? My parents encourage me, especially my mum, to try chinese first. My chinese teacher too. she seems like she wants me to take chinese. So, this is my current problem. The rest is fine. Especially for Bio (hehe..) Good thing is that most of it, i've learnt it before. Like Cells and stuff, except there's more stuff. Like Pilli, flagellum, Golgi apparatus and etc. Things that i've never heard of at least. So that's the additional stuff. Math is ok. I'm trying HL now, but most probably i'll go down to SL, cuz i've never been a big fan of Math anyway. And i have enough HL subjects. So yeah...and one more thing, i'm taking Chemistry. But not IB. Cuz there's no IB Chemistry in my school sadly. No teacher, and few students. That's why...
Sorry to bore you guys with all teh subjects stuff...Anyway, i just hope someone will post an advice for me regarding the chinese/indo stuff. Thanks!!!
